This barrel-aged Cornish black spiced rum is distilled from sugar cane molasses and barrel rested in oak casks that once held Irish Whiskey - paying homage to the founder of St Ives, the Irish Princess, St Ia. Whilst in the barrel it is infused with notes of vanilla, orange zest, toasted cinnamon, raisin, almonds, and intensely rich blackstrap molasses (or as we like to call it, “Black Gold”). A pinch of Cornish sea salt is added to each batch to honour the smugglers of old. Barrelled, blended, spiced, and bottled in St Ives, Cornwall.
